Bach to the Future
A special week of music and uplifting fun
in cooperation with the Carmel Bach Festival
and the Church of the Wayfarer, Carmel, California

July 28 – August 1, 2008    •    9 a.m. until 3 p.m

Music opportunities abound at Church of the Wayfarer. Through music we teach and celebrate the child in young people, and guide them as they seek their potential, so they may be empowered to know and accept that they can make a difference.

Bach to the Future has been part of our musical offering to the community since its creation by Carteena Robohm in 2005! Now, in collaboration with the Carmel Bach Festival, the program continues to flourish.

During this fun and enlightening week, our young participants sing and make music, draw, dance, explore history and language, interact with singers and instrumentalists from the Carmel Bach Festival, and even learn to cook some of J.S. Bach's favorite foods! more info

A Bach’s Lunch is provided for the children each day, and each child receives a "Bach to the Future" T-shirt.

New this year:

Bach ‘N Tots . . . Jacqueline Taylor leads these sessions for three- and four-year-olds. The children will be guided in rhythm and movement to the vibrant music of Bach. Bach 'N Tots meets daily for one 45 minute session only. Cost is $50 for the five sessions.
